Caring, competent, and professional! No less than six tours of other facilities, Avalon definitely checks all the boxes... community oriented, team is family centric, with a level of personal dedication that is necessary for this environment. Adaptive and accommodating... Avalon made adjustments for my parents as only one of them required the facility and its amenities, covering all the needs of my father, while providing opportunities for my mother to live a comfortable lifestyle. Our experience was professional, personal, and friendly... all items required for this adventure. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Memory Care Director. She is truly phenomenal at what she does. She is compassionate, professional, dedicated, and always willing to help whenever needed. No matter how busy she is, she makes herself available to answer questions, address concerns, and provide support to residents and their families. One of her greatest strengths is her communication. She keeps families informed, listens carefully, and makes sure everyone feels heard, valued, and supported. There have been challenges along the way, as there are in any community, but she always finds a way to address them and works hard to make things right. Her problem solving skills, commitment, and genuine care for the residents are remarkable. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure residents receive the best possible care, and her leadership brings peace of mind to families.
